“The New Normal”

Operation Christmas Child – Boxes Due by Monday, Nov. 23 at 10 am

Bring your boxes to the church office between now and Sunday morning. The final deadline for boxes is Monday, November 23 to be included in Operation Christmas Child. Boxes and lists available in the church office.

Cold Weather – Coat Drive

Over the next few months as it is getting colder, we will be collecting gently used coats and jackets to give out to those in need at our Food Bank and in the community.  If you would like to donate any used coats or jackets they can be dropped off in the bin next to the church office Monday-Friday between 9 am – 4 pm or on Sunday morning to one of the services.  

Thanksgiving Food Bank Donations 

If you are looking for items to donate to our Food Bank we are in need of the following items to give to our clients during these holiday months.

• Cornbread mix/biscuit mix
• Crispy Fried Onions
• Gravy jars and/or packets
• Cake Mix/Frosting
• Chicken broth
• Marshmallows
• Boxed potatoes
• Brown sugar
• Pie crusts/pie filling
• Evaporated Milk
• Canned pumpkin

All items can be brought to the bin next to the church office Monday-Friday between 9:00 am – 4:30 pm or on Sunday morning to one of the services. Thank you so much!

DR- Grace and the 3,739-Mile Mission

When the adults in her life describe 9-year-old Grace Farrell, they use words like “strong,” “determined” and “fearless.” But the one word that crops up, over and over, from everyone from her teachers to her pastor to her parents, is “passionate.” It takes a special kind of passion to inspire a fourth-grader to pick up a Compassion Sunday packet off the kitchen counter of her family home and say, “I want to do this.”

It takes a special kind of parent to say, “You can do that.” “I’ve prayed for her for a long time, that God will use her to do amazing things,” says Grace’s dad, Justin.

Take a Moment – Witness

Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” – John 20:21

Just as the Father sent Jesus to earth, Jesus is now sending us – full of grace and truth. You are called to be a witness. Take a moment to think: What have you witnessed God do in your life? Who can you share that story with this week?
