Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from us at Wilshire Avenue. We want we to know that we are so thankful for you. God has placed you here at Wilshire Avenue on purpose. You are part of God’s plan for the church; you have the power to help people find and follow Jesus. This Thanksgiving weekend would you take time to slow down and reflect on the gifts that he has given? As we turn toward Christmas, would you also join with us and pray for those that may come to know the Lord this Christmas at Wilshire?

Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. Psalm 107:8-9

Christmas Plans

With Christmas just around the corner it’s important to recognize the true meaning of the Holiday and enjoy time with friends and family. Every year our Christmas Eve service is wonderful, not because of what we do, but because of Who we proclaim. We want to equip you to welcome your friends, family, and neighbors to hear the good news that they can be forgiven of all their sins and experience peace with God through Jesus.

Our Christmas Services this year will be on:
– Sunday 12/20 at 4:30 pm
– Wednesday 12/23 at 4:30 pm
– Thursday 12/24 at 3 pm & 4:30 pm

Cold Weather – Coat Drive

Over the next few months as it is getting colder, we will be collecting gently used coats and jackets to give out to those in need at our Food Bank and in the community.  If you would like to donate any used coats or jackets they can be dropped off in the bin next to the church office Monday-Friday between 9 am – 4 pm or on Sunday morning to one of the services.
