Easter at Wilshire – April 4

Easter is a little over one week away! Easter is one of your best opportunities to invite a friend, coworker or neighbor to church. To help you out we have put together Easter invite bags for you to pass out and use to tell a friend about Easter. You can pick a few bags up at church on Sunday or in the church office Monday through Friday.

We have been approved to close off the street from Pomona Ave to the beginning of our church parking lot so we will have extra space to accommodate for social distancing. Be sure to invite your neighbors, friends, and family to join us in person outside on Wilshire Ave at 9 am & 10:30! We will also have services online for those that aren’t able to make it in person just like we do every Sunday! WA Kids 2 through 11 years old will be meeting at both services on Easter Sunday.

Good Friday – April 2

As a reminder, our Good Friday Service will be at 6:00 pm on the plaza. We will be taking Communion and remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for us because of his great love for us. We will have a traditional service online, a contemporary service online and a blended service in person on the plaza. WA Kids ages 2 – 11 years old will be meeting as well.

Where Is God During Trying Times?

One of the top results during our Sermon Series Survey was “Where Is God During Trying Times?”. As we begin this sermon series after Easter, we would love to address some of your greatest questions. When you or your friends find yourselves in trying times, what would you like to know? Some examples of these questions might be “Why does a good God allow bad things to happen?”, “Why is there suffering in the world?” or “Why does it feel like God has left me?” Think about what both you and your friends or family might want to hear as you continue to invite your 8-15. 2021 Faith Game Plan Check In

As we are 3 months into 2021 we want to revisit our Faith Game Plan. Pastor Rob talked about the importance of taking inventory of our faith if we are to move forward. If at the end of this year you reflected back and saw that your faith and connection to God grew this year what do you think your life would look like? What steps would I have taken? Student Center Update

If you didn’t catch it last Sunday, we have some exciting progress on the student center. We have received our approval on our permits to complete the rest of the student center. We will be able to add drywall, stucco and flooring in the coming weeks.
