Describe a time in your life when you felt really close to God. Where were you? What was
happening in your life at the time?

1. In the story of Elijah in I Kings chapter 18:41-19:15, what are some things that stand out
to you?
2. How do you see Elijah’s faith in action, even when it doesn’t seem possible? How do
you see God provide for Elijah?

Life Application:
1. What does it look like for us to trust God in the difficult times of our lives?
2. How have you seen God at work in your life during those times? What helps you to “see
beyond what you actually see”?

3. Where are you struggling to see God at work in your life? How can you see the “BIG” in
the small?
