One cannot love without giving. We see that God so loved the world that he gave his Son. We too are invited to become givers.

Opening Question:
How have you experienced God recently at work in your life?
Digging Deeper:
Rob shared about how generosity draws us closer to God and makes us more like Jesus. How do you see this to be true in your life? (See 2 Corinthians 9:13)
Look at 1 Timothy 6:17-19. What stands out to you in these verses? What encouragement do you see? What struggles do you see?
Life Application:
We are blessed when we are generous and when we receive the generosity of others. Share with your group a time when you were blessed by giving or by receiving a gift.
In doing a search of the Bible, the word “believe” is found 250+ times, “pray” 350+ times, “love” 700+ times, and “give” 2100+ times. What does it mean to be a giver or to be generous? Why is being a giver so important? In what ways, besides money, can we give to others?
How do you define materialism? How do you see generosity being the “cure” for materialism?
Where do you feel like you need to grow when it comes to being generous? What steps can you begin to take to be more generous? What are some ways that your generosity can be used by God?
What has stood out to you in our Legacy series that we have been going through the past 4 weeks? What do you think of when you hear the word “Legacy”? Where do you feel God is calling you to at this time?
