March Food Co-op Collection – Pasta Donations Needed

Thank you for your ongoing support of our food co-op! This March, we’re collecting donations of pasta – Ziti, Penne, and Rotini – to help stock our shelves and serve those in need. You can drop off contributions in the bins outside the office during the week or on Sunday mornings. Your generosity truly makes a difference, thank you!

JOY Outing – Free Admission to the Nixon Library!

Dear JOY Friends,

Join us for a special outing on Monday, March 17th at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum! We have a fantastic opportunity to see The Ancient World Display with free admission in honor of Pat Nixon’s birthday—our lucky day! (Normally, tickets range from $26.50–$32.00).

Growth is Our Goal – Memorize God’s Word As Pastor Rob mentioned, If you want to memorize Scripture but aren’t sure what to memorize or how, the Topical Memory System is a great way to begin your journey to store God’s Word in your heart. It’s simple and easy-to-use — and will help you memorize key verses that point to basic truths and important instruction.

Get Connected to a Life Group

Our Life groups at Wilshire Avenue are a great way to get connected and grow together with others in your journey with Christ.  We have groups that meet on different days and times throughout the week and would love to help get you connected to a group that works for you.  We will begin sign ups on Sunday, August 28th and we encourage you to stop by the Start Here booth on the plaza to meet some of the leaders and sign up for a group.  You can also sign up at www.wilshireave.com/groups!

Colombia Church Plant

God is doing amazing things at the church we helped plant in Colombia. The building is currently under construction but that hasn’t stopped the believers there. The church is making a difference in the community and meeting under a tree to worship and have service. Please continue to pray for Colombia as their COVID numbers have increased recently.

Children in the Dominican Republic are living on less than $2 a day. There are 31 more children at the new student center attached to the church plant that are waiting to be sponsored.
