Acts Series
We are back in our Acts sermon series! If you’ve missed any of the sermons from past weeks you can watch them at wilshireave.com/messages or in our Wilshire Ave App. In Acts we see God’s people called to tell of all they have witnessed in Jesus and we are invited into that call as well. We will have Acts study guides as well as Lent devotionals out in the start here booth. Join us every Sunday during this series!
Baptism // TODAY // MAR 05
Baptism is an important step in following Jesus. It symbolizes one’s death to sin, burial of the old life, and a resurrection to new life in Christ. Just as Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose to life again. Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples and to baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We will be holding baptisms at church on March 05.If you are interested in getting baptized please email office@wilshireave.com

Giving at Wilshire
The act of giving changes us, making us more like our generous Creator. God is the ultimate giver who gave the most precious gift, His son Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. We are passionate about sharing this message with our communities and with the next generation. Your giving helps transform lives and helps make a difference! You can give to God at wilshireave.com/give by clicking on the button below.
LOVED
Sundays, 9:00 AM in the Conference Room
This class is a 9 week journey where we will focus on, and soak in God’s love, like a steak marinates in sauce. Jesus knew the love of his Father and I don’t think he was afraid of anything, and I want to know and feel just a little bit of the Father’s love. The purpose of this group is not to learn more about God’s love, but to allow the truths of scripture to permeate into our minds, so that we would be set free from the lies the enemy puts in our head. The purpose of this group is to transform us so that we would be better able to love others. If you would like to sign up email office@wilshireave.com

Long before the American Revolution a revival brought spiritual awakening in the American
colonies, England, Wales, Scotland, and in several nations in Europe. Historians call it
“The Great Awakening.” Among its effects:
- Thousands of people found life-changing relationships with Jesus Christ.
- New schools and orphanages were created to bring hope to children.
- Prisons were reformed.
- A campaign was launched to end slavery.
- New opportunities opened up for women.
- England was spared the violent revolution that convulsed France
