This Sunday we will continue to look at God who is right there in the middle of our pain and difficulties. We hope you’ll join us this Sunday and invite a friend along as well.

Serve Day at Raymond Elementary

May 15 • 9 am – 12 pm
We want to thank everyone who served at Love Fullerton last Saturday. This Love Fullerton project is a part of a larger goal to partner with Raymond Elementary throughout the year to love their students and staff. We will be having another serve day to help finish some of the work we started last weekend. Sign up at wilshireave.com/serve to let us know you’re coming!

As part of our larger partnership with Raymond Elementary you have the opportunity to be a Difference Maker throughout next school year. We are looking for adults to be part of the Garden Mentorship program where you will meet weekly to garden with a Raymond Elementary student that has been recommended by the school to benefit from the program. This one on one opportunity provides an excellent opportunity to love the next generation. Email sylvia@wilshireave.com to let us know you’re interested.

Baptism

Sunday, May 16
Baptism is an important step in following Jesus. It symbolizes one’s death to sin, burial of the old life, and a resurrection to new life in Christ. Just as Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose to life again. Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples and to baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. If you would like to get baptized please contact us at office@wilshireave.com.

  • That we as Wilshire Ave and other churches in the community would be part of God’s plan to help people find and follow Jesus daily.
  • For revived hearts of believers across Fullerton
  • That we would be a people of reconciliation, justice and love
  • A stop to the spread of COVID-19 locally and globally, restoration to those who have it
  • Protection and provision for those who are in need and most vulnerable in our community
  • Salvation for people across Fullerton who have yet to follow Jesus
  • Unity among the churches in Fullerton that extends far beyond the racial crisis and COVID-19 and into long-lasting action for the Kingdom of God.
