New Sermon Series – In The Middle

One of the top results during our Sermon Series Survey was “Where Is God During Trying Times?” As we begin this new sermon series called “In The Middle”, we will be looking at where God is in the middle of the hard times and trials of life. We hope you’ll join us this Sunday and invite a friend along as well.

Love Fullerton – Saturday, April 24, 2021

9 AM – 12 PM, Raymond Elementary School
We believe in being Difference Makers in our city and we are excited for Love Fullerton this year. We have an ongoing partnership with Raymond Elementary and we want to bless them with a sensory garden for their students. We also have opportunities for you and your family to serve at home by writing encouraging notes to the faculty and staff at Raymond Elementary. Rooted – Register by April 18

If you’re new to the faith or new to Wilshire, join us as we strive to get rooted in our faith and grow as disciples in this class. This class will help go over the foundations of our faith and bring some clarity to your relationship with God. Rooted will meet at 9 am in person with the option of on zoom if you are not comfortable attending in person. Register at wilshireave.com/rooted by April 18. Cost is $25.

Baptism

Baptism is an important step in following Jesus. It symbolizes one’s death to sin, burial of the old life, and a resurrection to new life in Christ. Just as Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose to life again. Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples and to baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. WA Students- Wednesday Nights

This is a reminder that our WA Student Ministries are back on Wednesday Nights! Students will be meeting from 7:30 pm – 8:45pm at Wilshire Ave. No chairs needed. Masks required as usual. 

The night will begin with life groups at 7:30 followed by a few fun activities and a message from God’s word. WA Students is for all students in 6th through 12th grade.

Please know that this is completely optional and if you and your student do not feel comfortable attending due to COVID-19 please do not feel any obligation. If your student is interested sign them up for a group today by clicking here. Please email Pastor Sekwohn if you have any questions.
