Worship Center Indoor Service • June 13

We are excited to announce that our renovations are almost complete and we will reopen indoors for worship on June 13. When we open indoors in the Worship Center we will also have a live feed out to our church patio for an outdoor option. Additionally, we will continue to have our online services for your safety, so you will be able to join in live on Sunday or watch another time throughout the week.
We know that the Worship Center is one of the instruments God has given us to help us expand our reach both online and toward the next generation. If you missed the update video from Pastor El Roy & Pastor Rob you can find it at link.wilshireave.com/wc.
As we move indoors we are still in need of more difference makers to help put our worship services together. Email office@wilshireave.com if you are interested in making a difference.

Family Worship Night – Tonight!

Tonight, June 4 •  6 –  7:30pm
Parents, you have the opportunity to model for your children what it means to worship and follow Jesus. Come and worship together as a family with us at Wilshire Ave with a night of worship through song, a short message, games and time to reconnect with friends. Bring your own chair and a picnic dinner.

KidzPlay Summer Camp

June 21 – 25 • 9am – 12pm
Come and join us for some fun at KidzPlay Summer Camp! This will be for students entering Kindergarten thru 6th grade in the 2021-22 school year. This year will look a little different than normal KidzPlay Sports Camp as we continue to provide COVID-safe options. Kids will be rotating through Basketball, Badminton (instead of volleyball) and Gaga Ball (instead of soccer). We will follow the CDC guidelines that are in effect at that time and are still awaiting more information to come from the state on June 15th.

Summer Kick Off

We will resume our Wednesday night Jr HIgh & High School service starting June 9th from 7:00 – 8:30pm. Jr High & High School students will be having FREE Chick-Fil-A for dinner! Bring your student and encourage them to invite a friend.

Parenting Through The Phases Workshop 

You have approximately 936 weeks from the time your child is born until he or she graduates from high school. It goes by fast, and kids change and grow quickly. It’s as if they shift or move on just as you’re starting to figure them out. It all makes the responsibility to shape a child’s faith and character feel overwhelming. This workshop will give you some tools and resources to maneuver through each phase. July 21st, July 28th & August 4th 9-11:30.

Summer Kickoff: We will resume our Wednesday night MDWK service starting June 9th at a brand new time! 7:00 – 8:30pm. This is also our summer kickoff! We will be having FREE chick fil a for dinner! Bring your student and encourage them to invite a friend!
 

WA Kids Summer Nights (3rd – 5th Grade)

Starting June 9
Our 3rd – 5th graders are invited to “Summer Nights” every Wednesday in June and July from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. They will be able to hang out with their friends and grow in their faith. Register for Summer Nights using the Summer Registration Form.
 

WA Students Summer Nights (6th – 12th Grade)

Starting June 9
Our 6th – 12 graders will meet every Wednesday starting on June 9th where they will have a fun Summer Kick Off party! These will be all summer long from 7 – 8:30 pm.

Be a Difference Maker this Summer

There are so many ways for you to make a difference both here at Wilshire and in our community. We are looking for difference makers to help out with Summer Activities!  If you’re interested we would love to have you join the team and see what God can do through you.
