WA Kids Regathering – October 4

We have great news! Our WA Kids will start meeting again outside on campus on Sunday mornings at our 10:30 starting this Sunday, October 4. Children ages 2 to 4 will meet downstairs in the preschool playground area and elementary aged children will meet outside in our back lot. They will have their large group time for worship and a bible story followed by activities. Children will be screened for temperatures, remain socially distanced and will wear masks while at WA Kids. Check your kids in outside of the WA Kids gates on Wilshire Ave. Parents you will be able to RSVP at wilshireave.com/togetheragain and let us know how many children are coming.

Communion Sunday

We will be taking communion from our homes together as we watch the service online Sunday Before the service starts please make sure to get your bread and juice so you can celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection together with us online. We will have communion kits in the church office between now and Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

Dominican Republic- Sponsor a Child

For a child living in poverty, your words bring hope, support, love, and the encouragement they need to believe in themselves and feel valued, despite their circumstances. 
Child sponsorship is a way of giving that connects one compassionate person (like you!) with one child in need. Sponsoring a child gives them the chance to grow up healthy, educated and safe – forever changing the course of their life and future. And you just might find that it changes you, too.

We have the opportunity to sponsor 89 children in the Dominican Republic. We currently have 45 out of the 89 children sponsored at the church plant in the Dominican Republic. For $38 a month the entire course of a child’s life can be changed.

Take A Moment 

God is with you. It’s as simple and marvelous as that. Things may be terrible, circumstances might not change but God has promised that he will never leave you. He is near to you.
