  2. Be A Difference Maker at Wilshire, in Fullerton, and in your neighbors’ lives.
  3. Join a Life Group.
  4. Families, pick up your family prayer journal and devotional from Pastor Kellie on Pomona Ave on Sunday from 9:30 am to 12 pm.

We hope you’ll use September 20th as a day to realign and refocus your life with God and see what God can and will do through you. Fight to stay engaged with God and your church family online or in person. If you are having a hard time staying engaged online, feel free to join us in person on the plaza at 9 & 10:30 AM. Go to wilshireave.com/togetheragain for more information.

Upcoming Sermon Series: “The New Normal”

With all of the changes going on in society, many desire to go back to “normal.” What if the new normal looked very different? What if during this season we got a clearer picture of who we really are and what our purpose is in this life? What if we could create a healthy new normal together? Join us as we look to God who gives us our identity and purpose and leads us to that new normal.

Difference Maker Worship & Prayer Night

Difference Makers, we want to thank you so much for your work here at Wilshire! Your work has continued to make an eternal impact in the Kingdom. This season has been an incredibly trying time and yet we still see God moving in miraculous ways!

In the coming weeks we are going to go through a sermon series called ‘The New Normal.’ We are going to look at what our identity and purpose is as people of God! As a staff, we feel like God is waking us up as a church and calling us to pursue Him wholeheartedly and lean into Him in ways like never before!

Before we begin, we wanted to invite you to a night of prayer, direction and vision as we seek the Lord together. We need you there! We need you crying out to the Lord with us. We need you, the body and the priesthood of believers, if we are truly going to live out our identity and live out God’s purposes for our lives.

Join us for 1 hour of worship, prayer and direction this coming Wednesday (9/23) from 7-8 on the church plaza. Have someone you are mentoring? Bring them with you and bring your own chair.

Operation Christmas Child

Now is a good time to start thinking about what you will pack in your Operation Christmas Child shoebox this year. OCC anticipates that this year box donations will dramatically decrease due to the pandemic. This year is an important year to continue with this good work. You can pick up a  box and a shopping list in the church office Monday – Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. You can find more information or build a box online using the links below.
