Summer In The Psalms

Last week we started our Summer In the Psalms series. If you missed it you can always watch the service online. You have the option to worship indoors, outside on our patio or online. Continue to engage with God this summer and worship with your church family.

Best Week Ever- Registration Deadline 7/5/21

July 12 – 16 • 9am – 12pm
Kids 4 years old through 5th grade (’21-’22 school year) have the opportunity to come to the Best Week Ever! Our goal is to have children grow in their faith and it all can happen at the Best Week Ever. This will be a week full of games, songs and activities that your children will love. The theme is “Press Play” and it’s all about confidence. The kids will learn that they are known, they belong, they are forgiven, they can change and they can make a difference. Register them using the link below. No walks up will be accepted so make sure to register them by JULY 5 at 5 pm. If you’re able to, register them sooner so we can get our supplies prepared.

Best Week Ever Difference Makers & Supply List

There are so many ways for you to make a difference in the lives of children this summer. We are looking for difference makers to help out at the Best Week Ever (July 12 – 16)! We would love to have you join the team and see what God can do through you. Sign up to be a difference maker here. Or if you can’t attend in person you can still make a difference by donating supplies. Some of the items include ziplock bags, cardstock, tape glue and much more. Join The Team

We are in need of more hands to help on Sunday morning. Some of the positions include camera & slide operators, video switchers, sound techs, ushers, greeters and photographers. Email office@wilshireave.com if you are interested in making a difference.

Pray For Colombia

As you may remember, we recently helped plant a church in Colombia. Colombia has been hit hard with another wave of COVID and their numbers are increasing. Please lift Colombia up in prayer as well as for the church there as they continue to make a difference in their community.

Fresh Hope – Wednesdays at 6:30 pm

Fresh Hope is for anyone who is currently experiencing or has had a mental health challenge as well as families members of those with a mental health challenge. Fresh Hope is a safe place for you to meet with a group of peers who share similar experiences with mental health. Fresh Hope is free to attend. Register by emailing office@wilshireave.com.

Parenting Through The Phases Workshop

July 21, 28 & August 4 • 9 – 11:30 am
You have approximately 936 weeks from the time your child is born until he or she graduates from high school. It goes by fast, and kids change and grow quickly. It’s as if they shift or move on just as you’re starting to figure them out. It all makes the responsibility to shape a child’s faith and character feel overwhelming. This workshop will give you some tools and resources to maneuver through each phase.

Communion Sunday

As a reminder, We will be taking Communion this Sunday and remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for us because of his great love for us.
