Raymond Elementary- Garden Mentorship Program

Starting This Month!
As part of our partnership with Raymond Elementary you have the opportunity to be a Difference Maker throughout next school year. We are looking for adults to be part of the Garden Mentorship program where you will meet weekly with a Raymond Elementary student to garden together and mentor them. Email sylvia@wilshireave.com to let us know you’re interested.

Raymond Elementary Serve Day

Saturday, August 7 • 9 am – 12 pm
We are so excited about our partnership with Raymond Elementary School and the past serve days we have been able to participate in to help work toward creating an amazing sensory garden for both the students and staff to enjoy. We will be having another serve day on Saturday, August 7th from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm to help get things cleaned up and ready for the start of the school year. We hope you can join us!

Be a Difference Maker

There are so many ways for you to make a difference both here at Wilshire and in our community. On Sunday mornings you can help us with set up, tear down and part of our connection team. Or during the week you can help us prepare for Sunday mornings in many different ways. We also have opportunities to serve in the community. If you’re interested we would love to have you join the team and see what God can do through you. GriefShare Starts Again

Tuesdays from 6:30pm – 8:30pm Starting on September 7
This has been a tough season, we all have things to grieve. GriefShare, is a support group for people grieving any kind of loss. GriefShare, is a 12 week class that helps give you tools to process your grief. You can sign up at wilshireave.com/griefshare. Email griefshare@wilshireave.com for more information.

Pray For Our Jr High Students

Tonight is our Jr High Student’s last night at camp. Please continue to pray that they would meet with God and grow in their relationship with him. Pray for their safety as they travel back home and continue to and that they would continue to grow even when back from camp.

Pray For Our High School Students

Our High School Students will be attending The Rock Conference this Friday thru Sunday. Please keep them in your prayers as they embark on a journey filled with adventure, fun, and faith formation that will help them grow closer to God. This Conference is such an amazing opportunity for them to meet God in a new way. Help them grow in their relationship with God by praying for them this week.
