Does God really care about how I interact with others? In a season with so much tension, is it even possible to avoid relationship conflicts? Join us as we explore how to create lasting friendships and repair troubled relationships with friends, spouses, family members, and even bosses or colleagues.  Join us these next several weeks as we go to God’s word and learn together. 

WA Kids – Celebration Sunday – 09/26

This is a Sunday your child will not want to miss! Encourage them to invite their friends to roll out of bed and join us for a fun Glow party! This will be a fun Sunday for them to invite their friends to church!

Save the Date Welcome/Connection Dinner – 09/28

Welcome/Connections Dinner- If you are new to Wilshire Avenue or have come in the past year and a half, we would love to have you join us on Tuesday, September 28th at 6:00 pm for our Welcome/Connections Dinner.  This will be a great time to hear more about Wilshire Avenue, meet some of our staff, and hear how you can get connected to what God is doing in our church and community.  Please RSVP by emailing office@wilshireave.com

Byerrum Park – 09/26

As a church we are partnering with the City of Fullerton and the Parks and Recreation department to help take care of Byerrum Park on the corner of Chapman and Raymond. Our church will be going twice a month to help clean and take care of the park.  Our first meeting for all those interested in helping with this will be on Sunday, September 26th at 4:00 pm and we will meet at Byerrum Park to go over all the details and schedule for the next several months.  This is a great way to serve as a family or a life group or even with a few friends.  Please email bryan@wilshireave.com to sign up or if you have any questions. 

Be a Difference Maker

There are so many ways for you to make a difference both here at Wilshire and in our community. On Sunday mornings you can help us with set up, tear down and part of our connection team. Or during the week you can help us prepare for Sunday mornings in many different ways. We also have opportunities to serve in the community. If you’re interested we would love to have you join the team and see what God can do through you. Boomers Welcome Back Picnic – 10/09

Saturday October 9 at 12 noon @ Craig Regional Park on State College and Imperial Hwy We have reserved Shelter 1. It’s free except for the $5.00 parking fee. Food and drinks will be provided following COVID safety standards  Bring your chairs and outdoor games!!  If you bring a friend new to the group his/her name will be entered into a drawing for a prize!
