January Food Bank Needs: We are so thankful for all the support of so many people for our food bank.  This month we are in need of bagged dry beans and boxed macaroni and cheese. All donations can be brought to the bins outside of the office during the week or on Sunday mornings.

WA Kids First Friday // JAN 05

Our 3rd – 5th graders are invited to First Friday every first Friday of every month from
6:30 – 8:30PM.They will be able to hang out with their friends and grow in their faith.

The Bible in 8 Weeks // JAN 07

Room 304 @ 9 AM

Does the Bible often seem like an intimidating textbook? Would you like to better understand the Bible? If your answer is yes, we have just the class for you. This 8-week class will break up the 66 books of the Bible into 7 bite sized chunks. The Bible tells our story of our struggle with God. It also reveals the solution to our struggle. This class will allow you to taste and experience the book we call God’s Love Letter to Mankind. It starts the first Sunday of 2024, January 7th at 9am in room 304. So if your New Year’s resolution is to spend more time in God’s Word, this class is the perfect solution to help you get started.

“They Walked with God” Book study by Max Lucado.  In They Walked with God, a compilation adapted from previous works with new content added, pastor and New York Times bestselling author Max Lucado takes a closer look at 40 of the most inspirational characters in the Bible and shares a powerful message: if God can find a place for each character in the Bible, we can rest assured that he’s carved out a spot for us too. They Walked with God includes a series of meaningful, in-depth discussion questions that correspond with each biblical character that Max has highlighted, giving you a chance to reflect further about the incredible lives they led and the lessons we can learn from them.

“Let the Men be Men” // JAN 21

“Let the Men be Men” Book study by Chris Mueller. In 1 Corinthians 16:13, the Apostle Paul gives a clear command to ‘act like men.’ In our current times that is a difficult target for even Christian young adults to hit. The good news is that, in the book of Titus, God provides us with direct instruction on how to achieve that goal. There, the apostle Paul reveals God’s clear design for how young men are to walk worthy of Jesus Christ. In every generation, Christian men and women desperately need a biblical foundation on the roles which God designed.  This study will encourage us in these areas

Get Connected to a Life Group

Colombia Church Plant

God is doing amazing things at the church we helped plant in Colombia. The building is currently under construction but that hasn’t stopped the believers there. The church is making a difference in the community and meeting under a tree to worship and have service. Please continue to pray for Colombia as their COVID numbers have increased recently.
