Sunday Morning OPS Team
We have been having more and more new people joining us here at Wilshire Avenue and we are looking for more warm and friendly faces to help us at our Sunday morning services.
- Greeters: Arrive 15-20 min early- 9AM & 10:30AM Service (If they cant make it contact the office by Friday at 4PM or Mark’s Cell by Sat at Noon)
- Ushers : Arrive 15-20 min early- 9AM & 10:30AM Service
- New to Wilshire Table: After 9AM & 10:30AM Service (Exit WC after the last song)
- Safety Team: 15 min early
- Tech Team : cameras, slides, stage hands (setting up and cleaning up sound equipment before and after each service)

WA Kids Fall-O-Ween // Oct 29
We hope you’ll join us Sunday, October 29 after the 10:30 am service and invite a friend along as well. We will be having: Carnival games, food and crafts!
We will be needing Difference Makers to work the carnival booths and pass out candy. Candy Donations can be brought to the office. Candy bins will be in the church lobby or you can drop them off in the office by October 22 . Heart of Downtown Golf Tournament // NOV 06
Our Annual Heart of Downtown Golf Tournament will be on Monday, November 06th. This is the one major fundraiser that we do each year to fund our Heart of Downtown Ministries. The funds we raise at this tournament enable us to make a difference and have a heart for our cities. Men’s Breakfast // NOV 04
Men of all ages are invited to join us for our Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, November 4 at 8 AM at Wilshire Avenue. We will gather together for a great meal, fellowship and hearing more about opportunities and ways to connect with our Men’s ministry here at Wilshire Ave. Cost is $8 and you will need to register by Wednesday, November 1. This is a small group experience that will guide you through simple biblical and neuroscience insights and give you tools to reduce the symptoms and challenges with trauma and or PTSD. Our Life groups at Wilshire Avenue are a great way to get connected and grow together with others in your journey with Christ. We have groups that meet on different days and times throughout the week and would love to help get you connected to a group that works for you. We will begin sign ups on Sunday, August 28th and we encourage you to stop by the Start Here booth on the plaza to meet some of the leaders and sign up for a group. Colombia Church Plant
God is doing amazing things at the church we helped plant in Colombia. The building is currently under construction but that hasn’t stopped the believers there. The church is making a difference in the community and meeting under a tree to worship and have service. Please continue to pray for Colombia as their COVID numbers have increased recently.
